Philip Jung

Philip Jung is a Professor at the Department of Economics in Bonn. He studied history and economics at the University of Freiburg and received his Diploma in economics in 2000. He spent his first year Ph.D. education at the Study Center in Gerzensee (Switzerland) in 2001 and his second year education at Penn University (USA) in 2003. He received his Ph.D. from Frankfurt University in December 2006 and was a post-doctoral fellow at the University of Amsterdam. His main research fields include macroeconomics and labor economics.

He joined IZA as a Research Fellow in August 2012.
