Xiaoyan Lei

XIAOYAN LEI is associate professor of economics at China Center for Economic Research (CCER), National School of Development at Peking University. Her research spans the areas of Labor Economics, Health Economics and Economics of Ageing. Some of her work has been published on American Economic Journal, Journal of Human Resources, Health Economics and so on. She is also an active member in the research team for designing and conducting the China Health and Retirement Longitudinal Study (CHALRS). She received a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles.



She joined IZA as a Research Fellow in February 2010.
