John Forth is a Professor of Human Resource Management at Bayes Business School (formerly Cass Business School), City St George's, University of London. He is also a Research Associate of the Economic Statistics Centre of Excellence (ESCoE), based at King's College London. He joined IZA as a Research Fellow in August 2019.

His research focuses on work organisation and HRM, and their implications for job quality and productivity. Much of John's current work is investigating the links between firms and wage inequality, using linked employer-employee data.
