Maddalena Ronchi is a PhD student at Queen Mary University of London under the supervision of Barbara Petrongolo.
Prior to this, she obtained a B.A. and a M.Sc. degree in Economics and Social Sciences from Bocconi University in Milan. From February 2014 to June 2015 she worked at the Competitiveness Research Network (CompNet) at the European Central Bank.
Maddalena’s research interests are in applied microeconomics, mainly labour economics, gender economics and corporate finance. Her current research focuses on the impact of managers’ gender norms on employees’ and firms’ outcomes.
Maddalena joined IZA as a Research Affiliate in June 2018.
