Nicole Schneeweis is Associate Professor at the Department of Economics at the Johannes Kepler University Linz, Austria, where she obtained her PhD in 2009 (supervised by Rudolf Winter-Ebmer). She was a visiting scholar at the Centre for the Economics of Education at the London School of Economics and at the University of California, Berkeley.

Her research interests are applied microeconometrics, the economics of education, labour, health and population economics. Her research has been published in international journals, such as the Econcomic Journal, the Journal of Health Economcis, or the Journal of Human Resources. Nicole joined IZA as a research fellow in February 2013.
