Daniel Borowczyk-Martins is assistant professor at the Department of Economics of Copenhagen Business School.

He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Bristol, a MRes. in Economics from the Université catholique de Louvain and an MSc. in Economics and Public Policy from ISEG-UTL.

His main field of research is labor economics. He works on the effect of discrimination on minorities' labor market outcomes, the cyclicality of hours and employment, and the micro and macro consequences of non-standard forms of employment.

He joined IZA as a Research Affiliate in January 2014 and became a Research Fellow in July 2017.
