She is an Associate Professor at the Nuffield Department of Primary Care at Oxford University and Professor of Health Economics at Brunel University of London. Her main research interests include labour economics, immigration microeconometrics, big data and health economics.

She joined IZA as a Research Affiliate in January 2009 and became an IZA Research Fellow in January 2013.
