Eliza Forsythe is an Associate Professor in the School of Labor and Employment Relations and the Department of Economics at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Her research focuses on labor demand, recessions, technological change, and job mobility.

She received her PhD from MIT in 2014 and her bachelors degree from Mills College in 2008. She completed a post-doc at the WE Upjohn Institute for Employment Research.

Eliza Forsythe joined IZA as a Research Fellow in May 2023.
