Research Interests

Anica Kramer is a Senior Researcher and Data Analyst at Zi - Zentralinstitut in Berlin, where she works at the intersection of labor and health economics. Further, she is a visiting researcher in the division “labor markets, education and population” and a Research Fellow at RWI - Leibniz Institute for Economic Research in Essen, Germany.

She received her PhD in economics from Ruhr University Bochum in 2018.

During her doctoral studies, she worked as a researcher at RWI and was a visiting researcher at Rutgers University. Previously, she studied economics and social science at the University of Erfurt and economics at the University of Göttingen, the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven and the Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics.

Anica Kramer became a Research Affiliate in October 2018 and IZA Research Fellow in December 2023.
