Emanuele Dicarlo is an applied economist at the Bank of Italy, DG Economics and statistics.

He received his PhD from the University of Zurich in July 2021. Emanuele holds a MSc in Economics from Bocconi University (2015) and a BSc in Economics from Bocconi University (2012). His research interests are in public finance, social security, migration, and their interaction with firms in the labor market. He has an expertise in working with large administrative datasets which are the core data source of his projects.

Emanuele Dicarlo joined IZA as in March 2021.
