Corrado Andini is an associate professor of Economics. He is a member of the editorial board of Economies (MDPI) and a former editorial-board member of Plos One (Public Library of Science) and Heliyon (Elsevier).

He holds the M.Sc. in Economics from Pompeu Fabra Univ. in Barcelona and the Ph.D. in Economics from Sapienza Univ. of Rome. He is a winner of the "Fausto Vicarelli" prize for the best 2005 doctoral dissertation, awarded by the Italian Economic Association.

His research activities cover topics of labour economics, macroeconomics, economic geography, and industrial organization. His papers are published in several peer-reviewed academic journals including Applied Economics, Applied Economics Letters, Economics Bulletin, Economics Letters, Emerging Markets Review, Empirical Economics, Forum for Social Economics, International Economics, International Journal of Manpower, International Review of Applied Economics, Journal of Economic Geography, Journal of Economic Studies, Journal of Macroeconomics, Macroeconomic Dynamics, Portuguese Economic Journal, Regional Studies, Regional Science, Renewable Energy, Review of Political Economy, and Telecommunications Policy.

He is an IZA Research Fellow since May 2007.
