Emily Conover is a Professor of Economics at Hamilton College.

Her main research interests are in applied microeconomics, particularly in development and labor economics. Her recent work examines the determinants of women’s occupational choice; the impact of emigration on Mexican labor and demographic outcomes; and the effect of social protection programs on political, health, and child welfare outcomes.

At Hamilton she teaches courses in Econometrics, Micro-Economic Theory, Development Economics and Economics in Latin America.
