Luigi Pistaferri

Luigi Pistaferri is an Associate Professor of Economics at Stanford University. He received his Ph.D. from University College, London, in 1999. His research, published in the American Economic Review, Econometrica, Journal of Political Economy, Review of Economic Studies, and other journals, lies on the intersection between labor economics and macroeconomics. He is a research fellow of NBER, CEPR, and SIEPR. He lives in Stanford, California with his wife Marina and children Isabella, Bianca, and Antonio.

He joined IZA as a Research Fellow in September 2009.
