Forschungsinteressen

Terhi Maczulskij is Chief Research Scientist at ETLA Economic Research and Research Director at Yrjö Jahnsson Foundation, Helsinki. She is also Adjunct Professor at University of Jyväskylä. She received her PhD in economics from the University of Jyväskylä in 2013.

Her research covers a wide range of topics within labor and health economics. Her current work concentrates on estimating the causal effects of globalization and import bans on firm productivity and worker careers. She also studies the effects of decentralization of collective bargaining on wage dispersion and worker's effort.

Terhi Maczulskij joined IZA as a Research Fellow in September 2020.
