Marc J. Witte

Marc Witte is a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Economics at VU Amsterdam. After spending a year as a Postdoctoral Associate at NYU Abu Dhabi, Marc was as a Research Associate at IZA Bonn from September 2020 until August 2023. He continues to work closely with IZA's local research team as an Associated Member.

In 2019, he received his DPhil in Economics from the Department of Economics and the Centre for the Study of African Economies, University of Oxford. His research interests are in labor economics, development economics, and the economics of networks.
