Matthias Fahn is an Associate Professor at HKU Business School. He was previously Associate Professor at Johannes Kepler University Linz and Assistant Professor at LMU Munich where he also obtained his PhD.

His research covers a wide range of topics on Organizational and Labor Economics. His work is mainly concerned with understanding informal dynamic incentives in organizations, so-called relational contracts.

Matthias Fahn joined IZA as a Research Fellow in April 2023.
