Marco Bertoni is Full Professor of Public Economics at the University of Padova, Department of Economics and Management "Marco Fanno". He has obtained his PhD in Economics in 2014 from the University of Padova. He is also Research Affiliate at the Health Econometrics and Data Group (HEDG) - University of York and at Netspar - University of Tilburg.

His research interests are in Labor Economics, Economics of Education, and Health Economics. On these topics he has published in the Journal of Public Economics, the Journal of Health Economics, Economic Policy, and many others.

Marco Bertoni joined IZA as a Research Fellow in February 2019.
