Nagham Sayour is an Associate Professor of Economics at Zayed University, United Arab Emirates. She holds a Ph.D. in Economics from McGill University, Canada. She also holds an M.A. in Financial Economics and a B.S. in Mathematics with a minor in Computer Science from the American University of Beirut, Lebanon. Sayour taught many economics courses at both the graduate and undergraduate levels in several universities such as McGill University, Lebanese American University and Zayed University. Her research is in the field of empirical microeconomics with special interest in labor economics, family economics, impact evaluation and environmental economics. Her research has been published in international peer-reviewed journals such as Health Economics, Energy Journal, Labour Economics, and Journal of Population Economics.
