Amanda Michaud is a Senior Research Economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis. She is a macroeconomist with research in labor economics, focusing on labor force participation, and in international macroeconomics. Amanda has held previous positions as an Associate Professor at Indiana University and Western Ontario; Research Officer at FRB- St Louis; and as a Senior Economist at the White House Council of Economic Advisors. She holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelors in Economics and Mathematics with a minor in Arabic from the University of Rochester.
