Chloe N. East is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at the University of Colorado Denver. She received her Ph.D. from the University of California at Davis and her B.S. from the University of Texas at Austin.

Professor East interests are in Public, Labor, and Health economics. Specifically, she studies U.S. government policies--including safety net and social insurance programs, as well as immigration policy--and examine how they affect immigrants' and natives' outcomes.

She joined IZA as a Research Affiliate in July 2016 and became an IZA Research Fellow in November 2021.
