Hans-Martin von Gaudecker is a Professor of Economics at the University of Bonn. His research interests revolve around modelling the life-cycle behaviour of households and informing public policy aiming to reduce inequality.

He joined IZA as a Research Fellow in 2013 and is also a Research Fellow of Netspar and CESIfo. He works closely with IZA's local research team as an Associated Member.
