Sofía Fernández-Guerrico is an applied microeconomist working on topics related to labor economics and health economics.

Sofía is an Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Konstanz, Germany.

She received her Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, United States. She was a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) and a FNRS Postdoctoral Fellow, based at the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB), Belgium.

Sofía Fernández-Guerrico joined IZA as a Research Affiliate in April 2023.
