David Gill

David Gill works at Purdue University, where he is an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics. Previously, David was an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics at the University of Oxford and the Roger Van Noorden Fellow at Hertford College. David received his undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Oxford (B.A. in Philosophy, Politics and Economics; M.Phil. and D.Phil. in Economics).

David is an applied microeconomist who uses game theory and experiments to understand how people and firms behave. His research intersects with labor economics and industrial organization.

He joined IZA as a Research Fellow in August 2014.
