Russell Weinstein

Russell Weinstein is an Associate Professor in the School of Labor and Employment Relations and the Department of Economics at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. His research focuses on information and mobility frictions in the labor market, and their effect on employer recruiting strategies, human capital investments, and firm/worker match quality.

He received his PhD from Boston University in 2014.

Russell joined IZA as a Research Affiliate in November 2016 and became an IZA Research Fellow in November 2021.
