About the Workshop |
|
This IZA/Higher School of Economics workshop we will bring together labor economists who are working on labor market adjustment in the Commonwealth of Independent States, the Central Asian former Soviet Republics and China. While the main focus of the workshop is on recent developments connected to the Great Recession, papers on other topics will also be considered. We solicit both theoretical and empirical papers for submission. Outstanding papers presented at the workshop will be considered for publication in the new IZA Journal of Labor and Development after having undergone a rigorous refereeing process.

Travel and Accommodation |
|
Travel expenses for one author per paper will be covered according to IZA reimbursement guidelines. We will cover up to 3 nights of lodging. |
